not sure where to start but here it goes:
buddy and me built zc vtec turbo. Problem is when we went to start it for first time it didn't turn over instead i think it fried the ecu cuz it was kinda smoking and u could smell burnt wires. Also, his dash and corner lights are constantly on. i dont think its the motor setup but if u do let me know and i will post the setup. we used aan automatic 4-door eg in-dash wiring harness, because the car had been previously stolen and hacked up, and we repinned the distro plug (still have to double-check). basically this is it and we dont even know where to start checking for problems so any input really appreciated.

If someone wants to check it out we are willing to pay. We stay in Yucaipa so PLEASE HELP!

Well, your wiring would be highly suspect. Get a hold of the wiring diagram for that engine and chassis and have fun.

 

thanks for the input we actually picked up a new in-dash harness from another eg hatch but we want a wiring wiz who could install it so we make sure everything's right cuz my buddy is running low on funds for guessing and checking. thanks ahead of time for any help
