I just went through doing a headgasket change on my 00 ITR, and im at the point to put on the altenator belt, ac and ps belts. However i cant seem to get the altenator belt over the crank pulley. is there a trick to doing this? I've got the altenator loose just like the helms says to do, just cant slip it over the crank pulley. Thanks for any help!

Oh yeah, i tried searching...no results found....maybe im just typing in the wrong phrase, but i did try....

I assume you've got the belt over the alt and now trying to get it over the crank? Put it on the crank first then try and and put it on the alt. If it doesnt work then make sure the alt is as close to the crank as it can get. (theres a slider bar), and if still no go I'd say you got your belts mixed up.
