I know your gonna hate this but you need to take it to a dyno to get a good tune without blowing it up. You could always set it around 0 untill vtec engages and maybe add 1 point of fuel on the rpms above vtec engagement. I really don't want to give you too much because I don't want to blow your motor up.

He's asking about the initial settings. Like setting the number of sensors, # of cylinders, throttle sensor voltage....right?
Well its as easy as the steps describe.
Step 1- set to 6 of 6
step 2- set to 4
step 3- i don't think i did this step
step 4- make sure the arrow points UP
step 5-check the wiring diagram book for what type of vtec you have its in the table that tells you what diagram to look at i have a b16 so mines set to 1
step 6- push the gas all the way down for 10 seconds and then don't push the gas at all. For some reason this step confused me because i didn't know if the car was supposed to be running of not. I didn't have the car running for the initial set up just turned on the ignition switch (which doesn't mean your car should be running)
step 7- turn off the ignition
step 8- setting the VTC monitor i didn't do becuase i have a b16
START THE CAR and make sure everything works

i just checked the manual for confirmation and for step 5 (vtec type) set it to 1
step 8 only applies to cars that have IVTEC which yours doesn't, so you don't need to do step 8
glad i could help.

yeah, go to the "etc" menu, then "car select"
then it will say cyl, thr, V/T
cyl - 4
thr - the arrow should point up
V/T - 1 this is where you set which type of vtec you have
