Default need help with TPS.

yea i have horrible fluctuating idle and the check engine light is one someone said it is the tps how would i go about changing that cause i looked at it and there is no bolts on it.

Check that link, and tell us more about your problem, if its a really fast idle surge, or a slower surge. The more info the better.

the code says its the TPS.

so were can i buy that? also how do i change that?

you have to remove the throttle body. get a dremel and touch each rivet head of the two tb screws with a thin cutoff disc so you can put a line in it. mark the edge of the tps, on to the tb, with some sort of marker that will show up on the tps and throttle body so you know where it was previously set. use a flat head driver and remove the screws. take them to the hardware store and match them up with 6mm head bolts. put the 6mm head bolts in place of where the rivet head screws were, fasten so the line you made matches up. plug the tb back into the harness and remount it to the intake mani. probe the tps wire at the ecu or plug at the tb to see if it's at .5v closed, 4.5v open. if not, slide loosen the bolts slightly and rotate the tps until it is.

you can find TPS on h-t or most honda forums classifieds. just make sure the seller is reputable and the piece is not super old.
