Need help with suspension (DC2 components or aftermarket?)
First off, I'm a new member to this board...but from the looks of it....you guys are really knowledgeable and "mature". The reason why I say that is because I've been on other boards before (mainly streetracing.org) and it seems like the only thing they do is argue who put their hazaards on first in a streetrace. Never really got a chance to learn anything.
Anways, here's my situation. I have a 98 Civic EX coupe...which I'm about to sell in order to get a 92 hatchback. My coupe has ground control coilover sleeves/tokico's/ingalls camber kits....but honestly....i never was able to get them adjusted perfectly. Always seemed like one corner was higher/lower than the other. I don't wanna adjust the height every week (just too tempting) and get an alignment as a result.
Well, I was wondering how a type R suspension would be on a 92 hatchback? Would everything fit? Would it handle well? Any idea how much of a drop it would give? I'm also hoping that the dc2 suspension will help compensate for the engine swap i plan (b18c1).
