Default need help with some clicking noise

ok i have a 97 civic hatch. it has stock everything but for the last month i have been hearing a wierd clicking noise coming from the front left of my car when i turn. It clicks when i drive at slow speeds while turning. It doesnt click when i go straight. I was just wondering what that sound might be. Let me know if you guys have any ideas. I know its not my timing belt tensioner because its a lot louder and different sounding. Thanks!

Yep, definately sounds like you need a new axle. I'd recommend replacing it asap because the clicking sound while turning is a strong indication that it will soon break.

My car started ticking one morning. Later that night I was stuck on the side of the road with an axle that exploded. Replace that axle now!

It could be caused by a torn boot. Check your other side, if that boot looks like it is wearing also replace both axles.

Check the condition of your boot on the other side of the car, might have to swap two axles. If one boot tears it means the one on the other side is probably getting close to failing also. Just my $0.03

yeah i feel what you mean but i just need it to last for a couple of months because i have a b18 going into my car but i just have to pick up a few parts here and there to finish the swap. So buying 2 axles will leave me with 2 new d16 axles after
