Default Need help with this sensor, see pics please----->

both pics are about a sonsor located behind the intake manifolds. the first pic is of the a d16 i took out my 95 civic. the second is from the b16 im putting in(sorry i couldnt get the same angles). notice that the top pic has a black sensor with a hose plugged in to the manifold. the bottom pic doesnt have it nor a place to bolt the sensor down. i was planning on using the one from the d16 and bolt it else where on the b16's manifold. but my main concern is where am i gonna hook up that hose to? i was thinking of using a tee from another hose. but im not even too sure what this sensor is since i dont have my helms with me so if u guys can help me out on this i would really appreciate it

-originally i posted this on the HYBRID forum, but i need some feedback. tia

ok that's the EGR valve thingy.
You don't h a v e to hook that sensor up at all when using a DOHC VTEC engine. There's no check engine light that will be thrown either (if you leave it unplugged).

Yep, even the P28 ecu will NOT throw a code for this sensor. You're gonnna be ok (the baby will make it).

I drive what looks like a primer grey w/clear coat 92 civic hatchback on gunmetal Regamaster EVO wheels.

Im pretty sure its the EVAP Purge solenoid. Either way, it wont matter much
if you plug it in or not.
