Default Need help removing two screws

well i dont know what they are called but they are the two screws that hold up the igntion steering wheel lock system. is there a special tool or socket to use to tkae these off, from the pic they look to be reusable..

Use a chisel or fine punch to rotate them counterclockwise and unscrew them.

They are low torque breakaway bolts where the head snaps of after a specified amount of torque. New ones are available from the dealer.

or grind a slot and use a flathead impact screw driver

thanks, ill try both and see what happendes, i was thinking of just drilling them out and replacing with normal bolts anyways..lol. thanks for the advise

Those aren't supposed to be easy to pull out... That would make stealing the car too easy. Use a dremel and put a slot on them, remove them with an impact driver if needed or flat blade screwdriver if they aren't too tight.

oh yeah. unless you got a pair of strong needle nose that wont loose grip and somethin to grab em really hard (or brute force it.) otherwise im out of ideas.
