ok i just put a b18c into my 99 civic ex and i wired the iab plug, my question is; when i take off i don't really hear the vtec kick in and at 6K i was told you would hear the secondary butterflies kick in but i don't think they are working... is there any way to test this problem....??? Please help

 

you can connect the + wire on the vtec solenoid to a 12v wire and see if the solenoid clicks that way you know if its working
