ok so heres the deal. I just finished a H2B swap in a friends del sol. well everything runs great however it is overheating. The upper Rad hose gets very hot while the lower one stays cold. i have tried 2 different radiators to see if it was a radiator flow issue and that is not the case. if i disconnect the upper hose and run the car water will pump out of the hose but not very fast. if i disconnect the lower hose it will not pump water out. I have removed the thermostat so there should nothing really stopping flow unless the water pump went out. The H22 longblock is a fresh JDM longblock and just looking for opinions before i pull this complicated swap out and re do it to change the water pump. any ideas or opinions welcomed thank you. im sure its the pump but the motor has already been in and out a few times to test fit some of my fab work lol and im not really trying to do it again but if i have to i will lol thanks
