need help!!!!! no oil pressure!!
ok guys I need your help, I just had my b16 head rebuilt (bent 3 exhaust valves)
before the head was rebuilt I had about 60-80 psi oil pressure (at start-up) now that
the head is rebuilt I get 20psi and it drops to zero....but when I take out the oil
fill cap with the engine runing about 1/2 quart of oil sprayed out (never did that)
is there a possibility that the guy left a plug out or put a plug where it \didn't belon???
I did notice a small leak on the timing belt side about 1-1/2" aboe the head gasket
any suggestions before I dissasemble the head again????
thanks in advance and sorry for the loooonng post

I did try the gauge and it works fine. and no there's no noises... engine idles and revs normal. (when I rev the engine the oil press goes to 20-25psi and then slowly back to zero. ) the head bas rebuilt because it had some exhaust valves bent.
There is a restrictor in the oil line to the head, sort of looks like a dowel between the block and the head, has a hole about 2mm in dia. thru it. This was probably left out or lost when the head was removed and or machined. I'll get back to you with more details. At present the oil is dumping to the head and not lubing the crank and rods.
the oil restrictor that is on the back side of the block is there and it is not clogged, I made sure I checked it before installing the head....it looks like I'm going to have to take the head out... ;-(
thank you to all who have responded..

does anyone have the service manual for the b16 motor, and would like to share some pics on the head oil flow (plugs, o-rings, dowel pins)
would be much appreciated,
