i have a 92 civic hatch with a civic type r motor in it. i have just installed a better fuel system which is a walbro 255 pump, aem fuel regulater, aem high flow rail, aem cam gears, and 450cc injectors, and a vafc-II. i had the car running mint and then went away for a semester at school and came back and the car started running like ****. it will start out idling high at like 1900-2200 rpms (stock it idled at 1200 rpm) and then if u tried to rev it or even when it warm up it would bogg out and the revs would die down to around 500 rpms and the car would struggle to stay on. the engine did not come with a resister box and i had the car running before the fuel system with no problems, but now after this upgrade the car isn't running right. any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

why did you do all those mods? is the car boosted? what ecu are you running?

 

the reason i did all those mods was so that i can supercharge the engine but decided against it when i did the fuel work and the car worked beautifully at first. the ecu is a pr3 i believe.

 

any codes? mine acts a little funny if i dont drive it for a while too, but usually its back to normal within a few days.

 

no it doesnt have any codes, and when i do drive it it breaks up through the powerband.
