got a ls in my crx.. and for some reason everytime i have to shift into 5th at the end of the 1/4 mile.. 13.4 at 108.. have to shift into 5th cuz i hit the rev limiter... got the engine and tranny from a friend.. and i dont know if the tranny was ripped open.. just thinking that a stock ls tranny would make it down the track without shifting into 5th.. running 22.0/8.0/13 slicks also.. should i get another ls tranny and try it or go with another trans??

 

No that makes sense. An LS transmission will take you to 105mph in 4th at redline give or take. So you will need to shift into fifth if your running a 108MPH trap speed.

I don't believe it's a lS tranny.My gsr in fourth is 6200 @ 107 mph.Thats with 15" dr's.
