does the top adjuster adjust spring tension or something? cuz i can turn it up untill i cant turn anymore and i can turn it down untill the spring is lose. ...i still dont understand the bottomsection turning either. can anyone help?
Those are just like my Zeal setup. If you look at the very bottom locking ring, that part allows you to make height adjustments without changing your spring tension. If you adjust the very top locking ring this will compress the spring.
What I did with my Zeals is set the very top locking ring so it just comes in contact with the spring, then I went a half turn to a full turn to put some tension on the spring. I did this on all 4 corners. Then I installed them in my car and started adjusting the lower body bellow the lower locking ring. This allowed me to get my ride height close to were I wanted it. I did all fine adjustments on the upper locking ring, compressing or uncompressing the spring to adjust ride height.
This might not be the proper way to set them up but it worked on my car and my ride has a very nice even stance to it with about a ¼ rake from front to back. Rides nice too.
