Default NEED HELP IACV already searched..

please someone help me, i changed the iac and the computer is still saying that its fucked. I have a 93 ex with a 94 dx motor, I have the dx computer hooked up to it so it dosent throw codes for the vtec. I let the car warm up and it still sucks air in both of the holes in the TB. When i first start the car it bounces from 100 to 2500 up and down till it gets warm, after its warm it idles fine. It idles fine for a minute or two then the iac hole in the throttle body starts suckin in mad air. And so does the cold start on the bottom of the TB. I tried to block them off with foil but they still suck in air. I know they work cause they came off a working head. Also when i drive the car it bogs until it hits 3000 rpm. could this have anything to do with the IAC suckin in all that air. Some times i cant get the car to to go WOT it only goes to 2000 and bounces down the up to 2000 over and over. Oh ya i pluged the holes with my fingers it made it idle fine but like i said after it warms up you can hear the iac sucking air like crazy. Please help before i take a hammer to my car.

shoot some WD40 inthe hole and all problems are solved for a month or two. Thats the only way I can cure mine. I got a bran new one from Honda $130.00 and still issues, so I shot WD40 inside it and was back to all systems go...

you sure its the iacv? it sounds like the fitv, when ur car is warm its not supposed to be sucking in air anymore, that might be ur problem right there

check voltage with check engine light clean and running good, then check voltage with car acting up w/multi meter. see if there is any differance ? This IACV issue sucks, I been dealing with off and on issues for 2+years with this damn sensor. For me some days are good some days are bad. I do notice when its hot outside I get the problem more so.. Did you lube it up yet, any help or no ?

DX/EX shouldnt matter !! I was seriously thinking the ecu on mine has to have some kind of malfunction, havent swapped yet to see if this was true. Have you swapped ecu yet to confirm this ?
This IACV issue sucks *****, good luck with your problem, keep tabs w/me if you ever find answers to this mystery, seriously..

there was a ex motor in there before i got the car they put a dx moyor in cause the ex head blew, the used the ex wireharnessand left the p28 ecu to run the car, i changed the ecu to a dx po6 or a po5 not sure but it still does the same ****, throws the code for the iac (code 14) can the wire harness have anything to do wit this? Can i run the wires directly to the ecu from the iac, will that work? i am gonna take a hammer to the ****** car real soon, PLEASE HELP>..............
