Need help bad....
I have a 2000 civic im putting a b20 vtec in. I used my dx harness and repinned an obd1 dist.. Its a 99 b16 head and jdm b20 block. I used the obd2b to obd1 jumper harness and s300. The problem is i have no inj. pulse and when i unplug my resistor box i loose the power to the ecu. When i got the car it had msd 6al and greddy turbo timer. I removed the msd but kept the turbo timer. I would appreciate any help thanks.

I recommend a good wiring diagram and lots of patience. theres not gonna be much help on a subject like this because we cant trace wires over the interwebz.

I have no idea where to even start... The ecu itself looses power. I have hondata s300 and the power light shuts off when i unplug my resistor box... No fuel pump prime no fire but i do get a solid check engine light when the ressitor box is unplugged.

sometimes just finding a new harness is the easist way to go, but if you want to try and tackle this problem yourself you're gonna need a good trusted multimeter and a detailed wiring diagram. do you know how to read a wiring schematic?

Yea i can read schematics and i have all data and on demand 5 but not to handy with a multimeter... I looked for a harness wen i started this project but an uncut obd2b harness seems to be pretty hard to get a hold of in amarillo, Tx....
