Bought an EG hatch that had minor front end damage and the airbags went off. The guy I bought it from replaced the steering wheel but not the passenger side. he did give me a new airbag, SRS unit and relay. My question is do I need to replace the SRS unit or can I just do the airbag and connect it to the harness. Also where is the SRS unit and relay located.

You need to replace it all. The srs computer is often in the center under/behind the dash. Most everything srs has yellow loom and plugs.

I would download a service manual though, it gives details that i dont remember.
