Hey guys So I've owned my hatch for a few years now and I got a CTR wheel that I'm trying to wire the horn in but I'm at a loss as the wires are hack job mess from previous owner. It's RHD converted and I could really use help as to what wires go where? Here is a few pictures






Wheel and clock reel wires




Clock reel to connector but only a grey wire, why?




Red/blue to relay for horn right




Green red goes in and out?




Horn wires where do they go?




I also don't have that relay.


Any kind of info that could help please.

Looks like the wires going into the relay are correct. And I don't think you need that starter cut/ horn relay. It doesn't show up in the circuit diagram in the manual. If I had my car at home, I would pull the wheel off and take a look. I too have a '97 with a CTR wheel on it. Let me know if you want pics of the wire diagram.You can connect battery voltage and ground directly to the horn to see if it works. The fuse is under the hood. 15amp in spot #52. Relay could always be bad too.

 

I'll go check power to the relay, if I could get those pics. That would help. Thx

96 dx. I'll go through these photos and follow all the way back. I don't have the keyless receiver the grey runs straight to the another connector. But it's still missing 2 other wires into the clock reel connector don't know what it's for?

Update: sl I'm getting power from wht/grn into relay and out of relay, power from gry out of relay up to steering wheel. But is the red/blu into relay supposed to have power?

 

Update: solved the issue, clock reel is bad so I rerouted to another wire just to see and it worked. Thanks Danny.
