Need help choosing next mod!!!
Please help me choose the next mod I do to my car!
I have a 00 civic SI
I have
AEM CAI
Greddy Header
I want to keep increasing horse and torque without turboing or supercharging.
I would like to go all motor at least for now
I want to spend around $500 for my next mod or less if possible, (I am married) so many matters.

Well then, invest in a high flow cat and underdrive pulleys. Not the underdrive crank pulley, but rather an alternator and PS pulley. If you dont want to get exhaust you will always be held back by the stock exhaust if you modify your car alot more.

a good aftermarket exhaust will not be loud. (big canister)
i say look into the greddy SP, HKS Super Draggers, DC Sports, or Tanabe.
do stay away from the ones that only have the muffler and no resonator.
(quiet ones have big canisters and usually a resonator before the muffler)

I know you mention power mods, but handling mods will completely change your driving experience. See if you can pick up a used lsd or do the type r rear sway bar install. Either will change your car's personality completely.
CTR cams (or GSR cams), cam gears, VAFC and some tuning. It might come out to more than $500 but I would say that's the way to go next. My friend just added GSR cams to his b16a with some cam gears and a VAFC and tuned it this past weekend. He gained quite a bit. Hegot a solid 5-7hp across the full range (with a max gain of +9hp @ 7700rpm) and 5-7 lbs/ft of torque across the band (with a max gain of 10lbs/ft @ 4200 rpm) along with virtually eliminating the VTEC dip. I think that's pretty good!!

crower cams are probably better, so would skunk2 stage 1's but you had said you have $500. I was still over and trying to keep it cheap. You could pickup used GSR cams for really short money. With the crower or skunk2's you'll probably have to buy them new (you can find them used but not so easy and the deals aren't that great sometimes). But you need to upgrade your vavletrain now because these cams are meant to rev higher so now you need valve springs and retainers and to be able to put them in. It'll get way over $500 REALLY FAST! If you've got say $1000 that's what I would do, even then that's not gonna be enough.
pick up some used GSR cams, some used cam gears, a VAFC (i don't see good deals on used ones that much so you could just get a used one) and tune it. You'll be happy with the gains and it will be easy to upgrade from there.
