JDM ECU's have what are known as surface mounted components, chips, resistors switches...etc. Surface mount soldering is not something to try for a first time ECU soldering job. The USDM ECU's have thru-hole components these are easier to handle as they go through the board and are soldered from the back side.

If you are not familiar with the differences between surface mount and thru-hole soldering. I would suggest that you take your ECU to someone who knows how to do it.

If you know how to surface mount solder and you are just looking for the part numbers and a guide check out PGM-FI.
