so ive been workin on my turbo b16a2 with a b16 head... i made sure to check all the connections and make sure i wired everything up correctly... im runnin an AEM EMS for an ecu.. i tried kickin up the car and it jus wouldnt go.. what kinda problems could be causing this... any info would seriously help

 

You check for spark? check for fuel? you're running somekind of base map..or?

 

be more specific... it wont crank? its not getting fuel? nothing is happening at all?

 

i think i got it figured out... its a long *** story so here goes... so i used to drive a 96 civic with that same boosted motor, the b16a2 bottom and b16 head.. it had a drag turbo kit and was runnin the AEM EMS... the car was totalled but i salvaged many parts includin the motor... so i swapped it into a 97 chassis... turbo'd it and everything... the EMS is a 1020 which isnt meant to run on either of the chassis i had... but that 96 civic had its chassis harness chopped and rewired to make that 1020 ems work... i didnt realize that when i swapped it into my 97 chassis.. so long story short, i can either get a different ems or i can go thru hella trouble swappin the chassis harness... thats somethin im not familiar with doin
