ok
i start my car to leave work
and on the way home i notice lots of hesitation
to the point where the only noise my car makes is a bogging noise
but then it will suddenly surge to life every now and then
and when i come to a stop it sometimes stalls
and sometimes gets so weak that it wont accellerate
and then i have to stop and restart the car
and then SOMETIMES it starts working for me long enought to get up a hill

what could this be

i am thinking maybe spark??
coil getting too hot?
maybe fuel???

I had a similar problem but not so extreme as yours, my car was hesitating a lot. My plugs/wires, cap/rotor, fuel filter, air filter were all is good condition. I advanced my timing and reset my ECU and now its running perfect.
You should do a full tuneup on your car and it'll probably solve the problem.
