i have a 96 honda civic Ex with a D16 Y8 Engine and i want to install a Tach on it.
does anyone know how to install a tach quick, easy and with not many modifications?

If it's like most gauges, it probably needs switched 12v, ground, 12v illumination, and (in this case) RPM signal. There should be a blue wire in its own dead end plug near your driver side hood hinge that you can use for RPM signal(I used it for a shift light), or you could tap RPM signal at the distributor or at the ECU. You can use your radio fuse as switched 12v, any good bare metal point on the chassis for ground, and your parking light fuse for illumination.
