need help bad please help me
Ive got a built gsr head and bottom end the head has a full skunk2 valve train the valves are the flat top high compression and it has skunk2 stage 1 cams the head has been p/p and str cam gear . I don't know if that will affect any thing and the head has not been milled. The block has eagle rods, weisco mid compression pistons and the bore is 81.5 and with the 3 layer head gasket larry from endyn said my compression is 12-0-1 . But i want to drop the compression too 11-5-1 just to be more safe and 11-5-1 is good for the stage 1's .So i need to know should i clay the motor or what should i do will it be ok or what . please help me thanks
you should clay the motor if your unsure but why would dropping the compression necessarily help? comrpession is the calculation of bore stroke gasket thickness and combustin chamber volume
The cams are stage 1 skunk2's 11-5 is good comrpession for them and 12-1 that high for the cams plus 12-1 makes me scared that im going to blow some thing. a friend was at 11-7-1 bent a valve and spun a rod bearing.
