Default Need help bad....

Working on a friend of mines car, he blew his cx motor and I'm trying to help him out by installing a dx.
Car is a cx, motor is a 92 dx. I used the cx harness. The 92 dx motor does not have a map sensor located on the throttle body. I guess 92's located them on the firewall? So I used the cx one and ran a hose from the map to the throttle body. Next problem was the eacv, it was missing from the dx motor so I used the one from the cx. The bolts did not line up w/ the manifold. I used one bolt and gasket sealant and the ports lined up.
Now the car starts up and idles bad. At about three grand it breaks up and falls flat. The only code I'm getting is a 41, which is oxygen sensor heater...which was expected. I've been trying to troubleshoot this thing but I've had no luck. I don't have a spare dx map sensor or eacv laying around, would the cx ones be causing the problem? If anyone has any ideas or suggestions the help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Kevin

your car is running in limp mode dying a 3k rpm's.did you try reseting the ECU.if you nly have a 41 then you sould not have a problem with the map or eac valve.
