Default CX to DX

Hey guys im swapping a DX engine into a CX... I know im in deep. I got the computer and all the other stuff for it. im using the original harness from the cx. Everything matches up perfectly. The car STARTS and then boggs out if I dont give it gas passes 2krpms. I checked the codes and it ran eather a code 6 or a 16. 6 is o2 sensor and 16 is fuel injector... does this sound like a what could be giving me problems. An help would be cool.

Bad injectors can cause bogging. O2 sensor not so much.

you are right

dx - map on firewal
cx - map on throtle body

car will run very shitty with no map

i have done this swap befor and what i do is use the cx harness and a d16z6 throtle body that has a map

the cx throtle body is to small for the dx mainfold and will not bolt up

if you used the cx harness just get a z6 tb

if you used the dx harness you can take apart the cx harness and pin the sensor plug to the dx harness

hope this helps

you should have a plug left over by your "throtle body" that is for your map sensor

you need a d16z6 throtle body

if you still dont know what i am talking about search and look up throtle body and d16z6

^^^^^^^^^
you will use the o2 off of the dx motor because you will be using the dx ecu
and you use a d16z6 throtle body

thats it

No, the CX is shittier () and has the D15B8 which is an 8 valve POS.

The DX has the D15B7 (which is a 16v motor). I am 99.9% sure the B7 uses larger injectors than the B8, though I'm not completely positive.

OK guys heres the update. I got the codes to stop but the car is still bogging out. I thought I new were the MAP went but my newbie Honda skills kicked in. Here are some pictures of the bay and a vaccume line I cant figure out. Also theres a ground I have no clue were it goes.

Im pretty sure that ground goes to your fuse box by the battery. It looks like the one of the two that go in there.

Quick update... That ground wire was causing major problems. My car finally runs. BUT... the Map sensor in the TB screws up the car when it runs, basically the car runs with the MAP unplugged then when its plugged it bogs out... Jeez this is getting ridiculous. Need some help again haha
