fix your wiring. map sensor code = no vtec. lumpy idle is the result of the map code and probably the injector wiring

the MAP sensor code is the reason you are getting:

lumpy idle, no vtec and sputtering up top end and bogging.

reason for this is because the MAP sensor code is a code that throws the ECU into limp mode.

limp mode, I mean it retards the ignition timing all the way, you run very rich fuel, and fuel cut off varies. I believe around 5500-6000 depening on your ECU. And of course, definitely no VTEC.

Check the wiring to your MAP sensor, as well as vacuum lines, and connections to the throttle body and making sure the MAP sensor can breathe what it needs to be.

Your map sensor is what gives the ecu signal the exact manifold pressure for the right amount of fuel with the air provided for best idle/running quality.

If worse comes to worse, and you know your wiring is fine, as well as your vacuum line, MAP sensor connections to the throttle body is all fine, then replace the MAP sensor.

its weird because it was running fine last week and it ran ***** out, then vtec started to not work but not all the time it would work from time to time, the lumpy idle has been there for a while and me and my buddy seem to think it could be the IAC valve is bad?? also i replaced the MAP with my buddies which is brand new so im confused on what it could be, HONDATA, the ECU or is it im limp mode becasue last night it was missing and i think the sputtering top end cuold just be the plugs are fouled?
any one elses thoughts

Could be IACV. Like I said, man.

Check vacuum hoses, connections and make sure everything is sealed off.

You also might want to replace TB gasket, as well as make sure your MAP sensor is breathing properly what it needs to be.

The connection is on the throttle body.

and one more thing where can i find diagrams of all coolant hoses and vacuum line?

If your injectors were wired wrong, then they wouldn't work at all.

They only have power signal and ECU signal, that's it.

Checking the proper connections to the MAP sensor will fix the problem

and MAP sensor definitely throws you in limp mode which is the problem you are having.

the GM 3 bar would probalby work with it with running high boost, but can't guarentee it.

I'd definitely look into more research with the GM 3 MAP sensor.

Ask a few people in the FI forum

also one more thing could the bad IAC be causing the MAP, and VTEC and Injectors to throw a code?

ANyone know, will a bad IACV make the map throw a code and possibly go bad and the fuel injectors go bad, also what damage can a bad O2 sensor do?

A bad O2 will cause your car to run either rich or lean.

I haven't seen an IACV effect other devices yet.
