NEED Help!!
I just had my whole motor rebuilt and the rings were oversized for turbo application which I hoping is the reason why I have no compression. But anyway my main problem is, is that I was told to prime my motor before I start it by turning it over without the spark plug wires attached so that the oil pressure will come up, the only thing is, is that it doesn't seem like the oil pressure is rising. I see no oil splashing when I look inside the oil cap and my oil light stays on. What could be the problem? And yes the oil pump is new and I'm using a Moroso oil pan and pickup.
Any help would be great!
Thanks!

Fire it up for a couple of seconds, see if your oil pressure light goes out. You could be worrrying about a non-problem. You won't normally see oil "splashing" with the oil filler cap removed.
Try putting some oil in the filter, that can help prime them sometimes. It also helps to remove the spark plugs. Do not start the engine untill you get the oil system primed.

The oil light will go out when you crank it.
