need help
i am planning to do an engine swap on my 97 civic dx. i was just wonder if any one can show me/ tell me or even direct me to a link that shows step by step procedures in pulling out the motor
you need to make your thread title more specific....
pulling the motor is easy.
1)disconnect battery
2) get under the car, remove axles, shift linkage, and exhaust...
3)unhook harness connections, ground wires
4)drain coolant, remove hoses, and if you pull the radiator that will give you clearence and reduce the risk of you busting a hole in it.
5)install cherry picker
6)remove motor mount bolts
7) remove any other connections that you missed, yes you will miss at least one
8)pull engine up and out
9)drink beer
its as easy as that, takes like 2 hours or so with no air tools and not rushing.....if you are familar with working on vehicles
