Default NEED HELP

i just had a vafc II installed on my 03 honda civic with the b17 i have slight modifications done so far cause it was just recently purchased, however when i bought it i was told it wouldnt have much of a difference just the convenience that i could control my vtech. the only problem i am having is once i set the vtech to kick in around 5500 it lasts for a few mintues then engine just kinda bogs out and i can't get the rpms over 4 grand and its like a revlimiter is kicking in, any suggestions would be good~!

Disengaged the VAFC unless you know how to work it well, that works best with a tuner and a dyno in order to get max performance; if not, you'll probably just hurt the performance.
