Default V-AFC experts

well my lude was equipped with the V-AFC when i bought it, well a few days after having it, the check engine light came on, reset the ecu, it went off for a few days, came back on, ran the code it is throwing a P1259 "Manufact. control fuel air metering." which is saying it is the V-afc, my buddy told me i need to flat line the fuel to like full throttle, but im not positive if that was his exact words, i need to know what to do about this, and directions on how to do it (ex. settings - blah - blah - blah) thanks alot

I think you can try to go to the apexi website and get the operating manual to help you set it to 0....

yup, just set everything to 0% on low and hi throttle, until you get some sort of dyno tune or wideband. I have a normal afc, but it should be the same, if you are the the screen that displays your revs and throttle %, hit "back" button until you get to the menu where you can see settings, then go to low throttle and move the cursor right as you go on though 1-8k rpms press up or down to make it a steady line so you do not see any bar graph type colums. do that for low and high throttle and youll be fine. Sorry if I didn't explain it clear enough.
