need guidance
OK, i had a 5speed swap done on my 97 accord f22b2. now my car idles from 1000 to 2500, i have the sensor unplugged on top of the intake, right behind the TB,so when the engine warms up it ideals smooth. i still have the auto ecu but Ive heard that wouldn't cause it to idle like that.
Another problem my speedo isn't working either.what can i do to fix this?I haven't done the wiring from the old auto selector yet its just been put in park. Would this be the problem, or is it linked to using the auto ecu.
Last thing is my clutch is fully engaged immediately off the floor. slave cylinder, reservoir etc. is in good shape. Do i adjust the rod on the pedal itself? thanks for any help i get.

I'm sure alot of people want to help but switching from auto to manual without swapping the whole motor is a rare and complex procedure. Even techs who have done dozens of motor swaps may have never converted an auto motor to manual. Of the people who have, very few will have done it enough times to be familiar with it and the possible problems associated with the switch. On top of that problem, you say in your post that a sensor is disconnected, you're using the wrong ECU and there's wiring you haven't done yet. People who want to help see that and their first advice for you is to fix what you know is wrong. Then they realize that if you know of the problem and aren't fixing it, there's no point in advising you to.
Your speedo probably doesn't work because the auto ECU wasn't designed to use the manual transmission speed sensor. Your odo probably isn't working either. The clutch pedal height from the floor when released can be adjusted but that's not the problem. You may have air in the hydraulic system, faulty lines or cylinders. If you aren't losing fluid, I would bleed the system some more and if that doesn't fix the problem, replace the master cylinder unless you're using a new one.
