need ecu help...HHHEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLLLLPPP!!!
i am looking for an obd2, gen 1 ecu out of an itr. i think i've found one, but it doesn't specify whether or not its gen 1. i have a part number, i was wondering if anyone might be able to help?
the part number is 37820-P73-003 (which i beleive is jdm)...i just need to know if this is a gen 1 (1997 to 1998) or gen 2 (2000 to 2001). what confuses me the most is the the ecu part numbers, usdm lists xxxxx-xxx-A02 and A03 for '97 and '98, but xxxxx-xxx-A04 for '00 and '01.
someone please help clarify...thank you

The -A0X is just the board rev #. They may use the same rev # over multiple years.
If you have a JDM ITR ECU, it uses the OBD2A plug style.

i think it is...but we''l check and get back to you.
one last thing, how do we know if the ecu we have is obd2A? we don't have the ecu in hand, all we have is a part number.
