Need coilover suggestions....(Tein)
I have been looking around at coilover setups lately and would like some advice. First off, I never autocross my car or do any kind of racing so I am not looking for a setup that is best suited on the track because I am never there. I want a high quality kit (no cheap stuff, rattles, etc). Oklahoma has some of the worst roads in the US. They blow. I want something that is going to ride SMOOTH. Better than stock would be the best. I am looking to lower it about 1.5-1.75 inches. I have H&R sport springs right now and am very happy with the ride height. I have heard nothing but good things about the Tein SS system. I would like to hear from owners about the ride quality and your general satisfaction. Also, any other kits worth taking a look at. Just keep in mind that I want the BEST ride possible (as in comfort) with a 1.5-1.75 inch drop. Thanks in advance.
I have the tein SS on my 96 civic 4 door. I like them a lot and i ride around with them on a firmer setting than most would like on the street and they still ride great. Though my car is all the way down on the thread-collars which is 3.5 inches i believe,so if u got these it ride a alot better. I give the tein's a

Do you know anything about them having to be rebuilt after so long? Would you say the ride is more comfy on the softest setting than stock?
where can you get the SS coilovers, i bought a pair of shitty ones and they make clunking noises whenever i hit bumps, i need to upgrade for better ride comfort. thank man
