I am looking for the synchro rings for my 1992 JDM Civic, I got a quote for $240.00 seems expensive anyone know where i might find them cheaper? All help appreciated.

 

would help if you told us the tranny you're using, like y21, s4c, y1, s1, ys1, etc...

I have tons of rings and gears for various. Also need to know which gear and how do you know its the ring and not the gear mesh ?

It is the Y21 gearbox, it is grating going into 2nd and 3rd gear.
My mechanic checked it and said that it was the rings.

 

yea im having the same problem from 2nd going into 3rd and i got a 2000 fb itr...i have no clue any place to search.....so help would be appreciated

I would want to see for myself. If it grinds, the sleeve and gear are being damaged, not just the synchro rings. For all the hassle of replacing the synchros, I would probably just replace the whole gearset.
