Default need a b20b

i would love to get my hands on a b20b complete engine. and if i cant get the whole engine i dont want a block that has been tapped for vtec cuz i will keep the b20b non vtec. or shall i get one from like hmotors or jdm tiger or sumthin, for some reason in nc there hard to come by becuz there either in a car b20v and the junkyards suck like h-e-double hockey sticks

thanks i was really thinking that would be the case. but as of now i live in a apartment and i wanted to break it down in my second room. i was just thinkin it would come in a crate or something and i would have to take the crate and engine apart to get it in the crib which i didnt want to do. you know anybody who has got an engine from them and know how it came

It won't come in a crate. It'll come strapped down and wrapped on a large palette.

Don't get ahead of yourself. Make sure that they will even deliver to an apartment complex. Why would you want to buy it only to break it down? Doesn't make sense to me. HMO engines are very low mileage.

Then buy a bare block or something from a junkyard if you're just going to replace everything.

yea that was the plan. but like i said arounf here in north carolina. the junkyards are horrible with nothing in them honda acura wise. and it somebody does have a b20 its aalready a b20vtec. which in no way can somebody get me to go that route. i would still like to be a lil different not having vtec in a engine that everybody wants to do that too. by the way thanks for the help that you have been providing

Consider this; there's nothing you can do to a Honda that hasn't been done. There's no such thing as being "different".

i feel you well how bout no so common thats what i meant. if people swap b its always lsv b20v b18c1 or 5, and b16(speaking of boostin wise only). never really b20 non vtec or ls non vtec turbo and put down crazy numbers. i wanna be that guy. i know that there is people who has done or is doing the route i wanna take but you would catch somebody boosting vtec or non vtec thats all im sayin

on a b20vtec, the block is not touched to convert it to vtec. so you would have no problem with any block you buy.

doing an ls turbo is not being different. see 1000+ page ls turbo thread.
