since nobody replied last night, I just had to wait till the morning to call ARP

For anybody who searches this info in the future....

ARP Main Studs for a LS Block need to be torqued with ARP assembly lube in a 3 step process to 70ft lbs. Lube the stud threads, base, and both sides of the washer.

ARP 2000 Rod Bolts for Manley Turbo Tuff LS Rods are torqued to 48ft lbs

ARP Head Studs are hand tightened into the block then torqued to 70ft lbs also in a 3 step process..

ARP states that all of their hardware is reusable as long as its not over torqued.

Hopefully someday someone needs this info at 3am

Well it's only 1am, but this info is just what I got online to look for tonight! Thanks, I needed this by tomorrow and I'm pretty sure ARP won't be around for me to call over the weekend.

They dont give an specs. I torqued mine to 30-50-67.

I think my head is lifting at 67lbs... im going to take out the cams and re-torque to 82lbs with motor oil

Know anything about bottom end specs being accurate? The sheet said reduce the spec 5lb/ft if in aluminum. Yikes! I don't want my head or crank falling off...

just to throw in some Info when i called ARP about the head studs/bolts w/e u wanna call them he said to turn them into the block finger tight then torque to 65 ft-lbs using ARP Lube, but if using oil you should use 30 weight oil as the lube and torque to 80 ft-lb, in a 3 step sequence so im guessing something around 20....50.....then 80 .....he also told me that you should put the studs in first then the gasket, then slide the head on, then comes the washers then the nuts...... hope someone finds this as useful as i did good stuff .....and another thing the guy told me as was said by someone else in this thread is that they are re-usable

if you are have a problem with your head lifting, try tigtening the head studs into the block with a torque wrench at 5 ftlbs or 60 inlbs. have talked to a few people who had done this then i tried it and have not had a single problem since. but you have to make sure that the holes are completely dry. there can be nothing in the hole. again,THERE CAN BE NOTHING IN THE HOLE! IT MUST BE DRY!
