I have a problem w/ a stock B20 block swaps... I dont mind B16, B18C1, B18C5. But LS/VTEC's, the blocks under stock trim do not have the ability to handle the high(er) rpms the VTEC head requires. Yes there are plenty of guys running B18A/Bs and B20's w/ VTEC heads under 8500-9200 rpm and no problems. But you are facing the facts of why there is a differance between VTEC and non-VTEC blocks. I could go into specifics, but the differances most people know of, speak for themselfs.
