I have a wrecked 2000 si with a running vtec b20 and a lx with a shot d16y7. as bad as I hate to i need to swap the b20 to the lx. I am by no means a mechanic so I would probably pay to have it done. I was just wondering what needs to swap along with the engine? (Wiring harness, shifter linkage, etc..) And just a ruff number on what labor cost would be.

 

drivers side mount bracket, shift linkage, transmission, axels and ecu, you also need to wire in vtec or swap the engine harness... is what comes to mind

im sure there is a writeup somewhere if u took the time to search. I did a similar swap about 5 years ago and I was able to find all the info I needed and did all the work myself
