need advice on builbing b18c (rods) HELP!!!!!!!!
ok heres what i am doing, i am going with an all motor set up. here is what i have so far,
skunk2:
ecu
intake manifold
valve springs
valves (high compression)
ti retainers
spec 2 cams
cam gears
us itr pistons
exedy organic clutch
clutch masters 8.5lb flywheel
and a spoon head gasket
i am going to be reving to 9500 so i want something that will hold up, do you think the stock rods would be ok if i had them shotpeened? honestly i dont know too much about building motors but i want everything to turn out like it should so i only have to tear it down once. any advise or other info is apreciated, thanks in advance

This info is for a hella beast when you're done... take it for what it's worth...
header? You will need this for the flow to be optimal.
64mm bored Stock Throttle Body by Raver Motorsports...
VAFC for tuning, Hondata Stage 2 prefered...
Test Pipe for better flow at >8500RPM...
Quaiffe LSD for optimal traction...Energy Suspension motor mounts and shift bushing for stiffness...
Depeneding on how lean it runs, maybe bump the injectors...
This will be a hellabeast...

woowww.... above 8500 rpm you must go with Custom Rods, or you will have them thrownaway your pistons to the head..
Shootpeened not make lot for the strength
I ussually go with Crower ,but many people says SAENZ (im not sure to spell it) was better than crower
