Default N2O with crower 404's.....?

I have a B18b with 150shot nitrous and crower 404 cams.
I haven't used the nitrous yet but will it be alright to use it with these cams?

ha! a 150 shot?? I hope your block is built, because if not kabloooooom!
Catch it on video for us, it would be nice to watch. on a more serious note, I think the crower cams and the n20 is a good combo, I have the 32403's, but the last time I asked on this board noone was running such a setup.

edit: please, before you squeeze the 150 shot set up a videocam for us...it would be educational!

why dont you try a 60 or 75 shot before a 150 shot. A 150 shot is a a massive dose of Nitrous. I mean MASSIVE. I video tape of that spray would def. be educational

i will do that...but my engine is built i'm not that stupid....JE 9:1 pistons, eagle rods
crower springs,valves, retainers..etc etc
i'm just looking for info that will help me...i would like to start lower but the lowest shot i can run is 100. i figured since there are people running 100 shot on stock LS then mine should be able to handle 150

WTF you have 404 with 9.1 CR
WTF for man?
the 62404 are for maily all motor. The best resutls will be if you have higher than 11.5 CR
also Nos like high compression.

Put it this way;
B18/B20 + 62404 + 9.1CR + Nos=
B18/B20 + 62404 + 11.5:1 CR + Nos+ =

CR make a big difference in what you are trying to do.
oh yeah... an the 150shot.... have another and think it over.
**
tune your motor first with the 404, ect
then tune it on the dyno with a small(50) shot of Nos
then 75 then 100shot
I honestly would not put more than 75 in mine even if it was built.

I dont understand the low compression? That is to low for nitrous in my opinion. Antoher thing, I hope we are talking about a WET system because otherwise this is a SUPER DUPPER crappy idea. I would suggest the below for 150 shot MAXIMUM:

-Fully sleeved bottom end
-Crower rods
-SRP 10.5.1 pistons
-Holley fuel pressure regulator
-Holley 255 fuel pump
-Fuel cut-off safety switch
-ngk bkr7e spark plugs
-Retard the timing 3 degrees
-Run only (when sqeezing) 110 VP fuel if possible or mix with 91 or up octane for atleast 100 octane.
-Put it on a dyno right away and start at the lowest shot possible working your way up.

God be with your motor.

-HIT

i do wish i woulda went with higher compression but it's too late now....
but i'm gonna run it how it is for now and when it goes kaboom, build another.
i already had it tuned N/A but now i wanna get the nitrous going. unfortunealty i had it plumbed underneath the manifold and the jets are a bitch to get to(another stupid idea). i already got all that other **** ie. pump, cut off swith,MSD digital 6, colder plugs, purge, heater etc etc

on my old b18 i was able to spray a 100 shot safely with 404's, hondata, and a jrsc., but 150 might be pushing it....try off with something smaller
