Amen. VTEC and boost work wonders together if done properly.

I've heard of H22's not making impressive gains from JRSC's and turbo's after VTEC kicks in.....
It is true to a point, but it will not prevent you from makin big power. The idea is that the high-overlap of VTEC cams lets boost bleed out while both valves are open.

i think that its a tuning issue. Turbos can have a fine line between being a well thought out setup and a quickly pieced together one. If your setup isnt tuned well it isnt going to operate well. Sizing a turbo correctly works wonders...

true, it depends on the setup, timing isnt a big deal but can hurt a turbo setup with no ignition controll

This is the only aspect I have herd discussion of. While you can adjust cam gears to dial that out, you also have to consider overlap on/off vtec lobes.
