i'm getting a block to build and want to know if it was vtec or not i've never heard of it its a d16y6 i know of a y8,y7,z6...etc but never a y6

 

Yes it is vtec, it's like the Y8. I forget where it's from exactly, but if you do a search on here I'm sure you'll find info on it (I remember seeing at least 1 thread about it).

a.k.a 96-00 civic
it's vtec is weak -.-
but it would probably make a good build.

The D16Y7 is the '96-'00 USDM non-vtec engine. And the EK9 had the B16A, not a D-series.

 

i was asking about a d16y6 not y7 and i'm not reading it wrong it is def. a d16y6 thats why it has me stumped
