First, it's vtec. vtech is a phone.

Second, try using the search feature and reading the FAQ's. That should answer all your basic questions before everyone comes in and slamming you.

Wrong, D16Y8 is a VTEC motor, the Y7 is the standard DX/LX motor which is Non-VTEC.

There's a complete write up in the FAQ. Very informative and very thorough. Should be no problem to convert in a weekend.

Once again its VTEC not VTECH and you need the head with intake manifold and the ecu.

i don't mean to be an *******, but if you can't spell vtec or think it's as easy as just slapping on a head then please don't do that to the poor honda. too many people do that to poor hondas and make others victims :/

you would need to get a vtec head, complete. and if you want it to function correctly with you block, you will need to do some wire work, and anyone correct me if im wrong, but i cant remember if you need to change transmission.

Transmission swap is not necessary but will make a world of difference
