my set up is a ls swap i a civic hatch.its got a msd ignition set up...jus wanna let people know that if u advance the timing too much it will kill the rotor and all the spark plugs...in like one day...something i now know...

 

How? I thought it would just stop sparking if advanced too much.

 

it shouldnt kill the rotor or plugs, it would basically just crossfire.

Unless it detonated, then it would kill the sparkplugs... (and hopefully nothing else)

 

all i know is i messed with the timing and the next day everthing was ruined....including the cap..
