Default Is my o2 sensor bad? (rich/lean)

My gsr is now with a p28 ecu and Hondata. The Autometer gauge says stoich at start up..but after a few mins, it goes to lean side (about 3 lights from last red). At cruising, it's the last light on red (at 3000 rmp around 60 mph)...give it a little more gas (say like 3500 rpm), the last red completely disappears. The a/f meter doesn't bounce up and down at idle or cruising like before anymore...As a matter of fact, it doesn't bounce around at all (or rarely does). If it lights up at red, it'll stay on red at that light...
The fuel map looks like i'm giving enough fuel for it to run (as comparing with other maps)...but why is this lean problem? Would this be a symptom of a dead o2 sensor? Also, a friend suggested that it might be running WAY TOO rich and the o2 sensor will see it as lean...is it possible?
