my gas light wont light up

hi guys my gas light on my 98 civic ex never ever comes on and i drive it down to the empty level. i changed the bulb and still nothing. anyone have any ideas that can possible help me out????

yea, drive it until it does!
just in case it really doesnt work, carry a gallon of gas with you... but I bet it will eventually come on.

Probably a bad fuel sending unit.
