Mugen chipped ECU
I just got a PR3 chipped ECU that shuts my car off when I come to a stop. But if I put my stock ECU PWO back in, my car runs fine.
How can I fix this? And what is the problem?
I put the chipped PR3 into my friends car to see if it was the ECU and his runs runs fine.

please help!!

no none, that's what is so messed up. It starts fine the first time, I drive down the block and hit a stop sign and the car just dies. If it is cold it will will try and start back up. It will not always start up though after it dies the first time.
and if I get out on a longer road and hit a red light I have to push the car over to the side of the road and let it cool down before it will start again.
HELP!!!

The mugen program is known to have idle issues such as what your expierencing. And it can vary on the vehicles the ecu is used on...
Here's some options:
1. live with it
2. run a different program
3. play around with your idle adjustment screw (raise your idle)

i would live with it if I could. ever stop it shuts the car down. If I get a different chipped ECU will it do the same thing? Don't you do the chipping for JDMHONDAPARTS?
i'll try the idle screw and see if that fixes it
