Default muffler hanging too low?

Hey guy i went to a local muffler shop in burlington and got a magnaflow muffler installed cat back. the car wasnt lowered so i told them i will be lowering it. they tucke dthe piping as high as they could over the axle but the very bottom of the muffler now sits about 4.5 inches off the ground. im lowering my car tomorrow with coilovers and do you think i will run into any trouble with it lowered say 1.75-2 inches? will the springs be stiff enough not to bounce on the hwy? i also baught kyb gen 2 struts.. thanx

I'd say that you will be alright. Can the muffler go any higher?
How are the roads where you live...nice paved highways or potholed and rutted back country roads?
I have seen mufflers hang lower. You will just have to be more careful.
