Where the hell is a good spot to mount these? There is basically no room left in the engine compartment.

If i squeeze it into the firewall behind the intake manifold, how do you mount the rubber feet? If you drill a hole, how do you get a nut on the bolt to fasten them? Or should I forget the shock absorbing feet and just sheet metal screw the stuff down?

 

fasten the box to the fire wall and the coil on the wheel .and use self tapping screws

 

Hey Torin....I know what you mean by no more space. I mounted my MSD box behind my console inside the car, then ran the wires thru the firewall. There may or may not be space behind your console (under the dash). I already sent you an email on how to handle the coil.

 

I have mine on my firewall, only attatched by 2 screws and I have the coil mounted to the plasic piece of my Battery cover on the side.
